  • Setting up my own shop - What do I need?

Happy day, $500 scholarship money came in the mail today! Which means, I have $500 to spend on Meguiar's products, which, hopefully, will earn itself back with a little bit of work. I want to set up my own shop, nothing big, just big enough to stuff my garage table with detailer products so I can send flyers around my street and hope for some rich but lazy Rover and Audi drivers to come in.

    What do I need?

Wash: I'm thinking a gallon container of a washing solution that I can use to clean interior as well. Can I use APC? And what's those snow foam things?
Clay: Need a big container of clay, what's the difference between the two types of Meguiar's professional clay?
Paint Correction: I know I need a G110, and some pads. Can the pads be reused or washed? Is M105 and M205 enough or do I need other stuff?
Polish: There seem to be countless polishing products. I currently have M7. Is it good enough or should I replace it with something else?
Wax: NXT Gen Tech Wax or M26? Or would you recommend another product?
    Exterior Plastic Trim: APC?
    Rims/Exhaust tips: APC as well?

Please keep in mind that, even though I have $500, I want to spend as little as possible (I'd rather get APC and use it to clean wheels and carpet, instead of getting separate cleaners for each)

    Any inputs are welcome! Thanks!

I kinda jumped the gun with my ADS purchase, not that i regret anything but i HIGHLY SUGGEST you check out the sample packs offered through ADS, you get a great deal of product for what you pay, and a free bottle! For the plastic trim i would suggest All Season Dressing, You can also check out the smooth surface kit if you have not already, Otherwise the mild clay is more than enough. My 2 cents, gotta get back to work!
