Best Wax and Spray Wax for White or Light-Colored Cars

Hi. Please advise what is the best wax and spray wax combo that I can use for paint protection and a glossy finish for white or light-colored cars.

Hi,you could opt for NXT tech wax 2.0,gold class or dc3 carnauba..

They're all good.What's best on white?

Many feel that synthetic sealants are best on white and light-colored cars; so I would first try NXT and Ultimate Quik Wax.

Use what you like. I cant remember where or who said it on here, I think Mike Phillips? If it looks good on a black car it will look good on a light car. The wax is on the clear coat not the color. It just looks different on a black car because of the color, reflections just arent as sharp in white or silver. So if you already have a wax you like than I would stick with it or try out others.

If you need wax I say get some NXT and some M26

Try M20 Polymer Sealant topped with NXT 2.0 or M26. Then maintain with Ultimate Quik Detailer and Ultimate Quik Wax.

I used 3M Performance Finish on my parents' white 2000 Honda Odyssey. NXT 2.0 and M21 are comparable to that. I'd shoot for one of those if you can.



If you top your choice of sealant with a carnauba it will create a darkening effect. You may or may not like that. You'd just have to try it and see for yourself. In this pic, the Performance Finish is on the rest of the van and a carnauba has been applied to the hood.
