First time detailing my car with meguiar's

Here's the deal, i have a 2005 ford expedition (black)

i want to know the step's i need to keep this car the cleanest an blackest i can have it...

I wash my car every week an use quick detailer in between washes an that's it,,,,,

so you know my car is clean but no clean !!!!!

I want to start from the start like if i just bought it brand new what are my steps an what is the first thing i need to due from clay or ultimate compond to the last step which is nxt generation tex wax

i will be applying everything by hand

Smooth Surface Clay Kit
Ultimate Compound or SwirlX.
Least aggressive method possible.
Wax.

Yeah, wash and clay.

Then do a test area with SwirlX. See if it gets rid of your defects, if so, great. If not, then you will try Ultimate Compound.

Then follow up with 2 thin coats of Nxt 2.0.

Thanxs guys, just what i was looking for,,,

so i will start with gold wash an then move my car to my garage an start with the ultimate compond,,,,

after i am done with this step which is wash an compound, how long should i wait, to start the next step which would probly be swirl x an then move to the next gen tex wax

I HAVE WASHED MY CAR WITH GOLD WASH AN CLAYED IT FROM TOP TO BOTTOM AN CLEANED IT UP WITH QUICK DETAILER,, AWW THE RESULT,, LOOKING GOOD,,, I WILL FINISH UP THIS WEEKEND WITH ULTIMATE COMPOUND AN NxT.2.O WAx

Right on Paparazzi! When you're ready to use the UC be sure to try a test spot first. Make sure it'll finish out the way you're expecting it to. Doing it all by hand is a lot of work, but it's also very rewarding. Best of luck.
