What is the best product to use to clean the accumulated dust by the door hinges? Is there a spray product that I can use.

Re: Cleaning door sides by the hinges
i would think apc+ if you have it either 10:1 or 4:1 would work to clean those areas. Or maybe quick detail spray.
There is a post where a guy with a vette cleaned those areas with I believe quick detailer and i think hyper dressing and it looked really good, like brand new really good. I will try and find the post for you.

Re: Cleaning door sides by the hinges
I just spray them down with degreaser, then take a bendable spoke brush, like this:
and a car wash solution and scrub them. Works pretty good because you can bend it to get in tight areas. Then I just rinse lightly with the water hose. After that I hook up the vacuum hose to the blow port on the vacuum and blow the area dry. I have a bendy brush I picked up from Auto Zone. You might try that and see if it will work for you.Shane

I was going to pick it up...Never mind,it'll still be there next week..Lots of people here don't know meg's,but i'm trying to help the guy at the store to boost his sales. He had 1 quik clay kit,and asked if it was any good..
I said "are you kidding?",so he's going to try it on his own car.I gave him some good advice about using it,but what i'll do,when i go back next week,is offer to help him. He'll be really impressed, using meg's!!!

Re: Cleaning door sides by the hinges
Go to your local 'Everything for a Dollar store' They usually have a selection of general purpose brushes that are good for getting into tight spots. NOT recommended for the body of the car.
Good luck.I got so mad at a girl who was texting while she was driving, that I rolled down my window and threw my beer at her

Re: Cleaning door sides by the hinges
For me I since most cars are just dusty in that area I just use some Last Touch and the Meg's Slide Lock brush and a micro-fiber to wipe it up. If you want to go a little farther with it you can dress the plastic parts with some M40 or any dressing of your choice and protect the paint with something like a cleaner wax.

I don't care for the bristles..they are not soft..there is also not enough of them..if you are going to invest your money, invest in Daytona Speed wheel brush, or EZ brushes..Fergy-
