Topping NXT With Gold Class?

I got a bottle of Gold Glass wax that i want to use up.

Basically my question is.. would it be ok to top Nxt with Gold Class or vice-versa??

Which do you think i should put on first, NXT or Gold Class?

Since NXT is kinda considered a sealant....top it with the Gold Class. It's usually best to wait about 12 hours to give the NXT time to bond to the paint well.

yea thats what i was thinking..also cause the NXT will last longer too...

problem is im not even sure i have enough to do my whole car

i have gold class paste wax...do you think it would hurt to use some paste wax if i cant do the whole car with the liquid??

i dont think it would be too much of a big deal considering theyre the same wax and the car is already sealed with NXT

Paste...liquid, no difference except that liquids are easier to apply with a PC.

just did this past weekend. my car is dark , and nxt 2 coats plus one top of gold class.
the result is u get a deeper color look , i think takes a little from nxt reflection and add some more deep color.
not sure if i will do this again in summer (tx) i think i will go only with nxt, but cars looks good anyway.

You need to top NXT with gold class. If you top a carnauba (GC) with a synthetic (NXT) then it will wear away the carnauba and only have synthetic. So you always top synthetic with carnauba and never vice versu. Allow 12 hours after application of NXT for the coat of GC. Post some pics of how your car turns out!

that`s mine after 2 nxt and top with gold .
car is not buff/polish , full of swirl, only clay and wash/clean.
i will go with carnauba only when i want to have a deep color finish , for best shine /mirror look nxt i think is good, i didn`t try m21 but is on order already.

I did a coat of NXT and then a coat of GC a couple days ago on my Wrangler and it has never looked better. I think I am going to do this every month from now on.

I actually did my moms 03 G35 about 2 weeks ago but everyday after i get home from school it rains and i cant take pics.

My car is a 2004 charcoal colored Mustang (avatar) and has no swirling, always been taken care of

Wash With Gold Class
Clay With smooth surface clay bar and quick detailer

Nxt 2.0
Gold Class Wax

Also gonna do engine detail with Purple Power
Tires/Rims with Hot Rims All Wheel Cleaner and Armor All Tire Shine
And Grill and Plastic by the mirrors will be Done with Mothers Back to Black

Interior

Vacummed and cleaned with Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner

School gets out on Thursday so i should have a write up within the next few weeks

I agree, NXT 2.0 topped with Gold Class should look great. I just put NXT 2.0 on my car and topped it with M26 the other night. View writeup here. I love that combo!
