I personally haven't seen them in any stores. Other than trying your PBE store and having them ordered, you'll have to order them from ADS or another on-line vendor that has them and may be offering a free shipping special.

I don't know why WalMart doesn't carry them or the water magnets. Both products are competitively priced and would probably sell well off the shelf. Maybe I'll suggest it to a local Wally auto dept. manager and see if he runs with the idea...

I usually get mine from ADS. Every order, If I remember I always add a couple in. Never can have to many.

I have collected many from the Smooth Surface Clay Kits. I saw some SS microfibers at Bass Po Shops, but they were five dollars a towel.

Sams Club has very nice quality MF towels. I believe they are about 9.88 for a package of 24.

Costco has a nice pack also, just make sure and wash before using. Vroom towels from Target aren't bad either, the orange ones are the ones I'm thinking of.

I may get lynched for writing this, but I use the "Workforce" MF towels from Sam's Club. They are perfect for my needs, and pass the the CD scratch test. They are an 80/20 blend.

In my opinion, the Meguiar's SS is really no different than the Workforce towels I have been using, only that the SS is larger in size. For $9.99, I get 24 of the Workforce MF towels, and the SS's are much more expensive per towel.

I also like the orange MF towels from Target. They work great for QD/UQD use. When folded in fourths they are a thick plush towel.

If you are looking for a few microfibers, check out Amazon.com. They sell 3-packs for a very reasonable price, order $25 worth and the shipping is free. You can get about 12 towels for $25.

I actually found some very nice MF towels at K-Mart after someone recommended them. Very plush and seem like they are worth the money. I am going to put them through the CD test after I wash them. K-mart actually sold a lot of Meguiars products, the most I have seen at a single store. I wanted to pick up some UQW but it was the only thing they didn't have.

Speaking of using other companies names on the website, I got on a Mothers forum due to curiosity and they actually bleep out Meguiars like cus words. Kinda pissed me off. Someone said they used M******s Gold Class Shampoo and it worked a lot better than the mothers product and I laughed....

I am a noob so please spare me if this sounds stupid, but. are you suppose to pre wash every microfiber towel before you use it? And if so, just a cold water bath?

^ I was wondering the same thing. I would do it just to be safe, I have heard a lot of people saying to pre wash certain brands, not sure if every kind needs to be though. I have heard they lose some of their softness after being washed so if it is still soft and doesn't scratch after being washed it is a good indicator of if you have nice MF or not.

Not a stupid question at all. Do you wash a new pair of jeans or a shirt before you wear it?

You *should* so that any contamination that is on the towel is washed off before using it on your car.
