A little Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish and a clean terry cloth towel can do wonders on exhaust tips!

WOW Mike that even made the color come back to the ground!

I once put swirls in my paint just to see what it looked like.

        I don't always detail cars, but when I do, I prefer Meguiar's.
        Remove swirls my friends.

"Before" shot taken in the parking lot, "after" shot taken in the garage. Either that or we used the new Meguiar's Driveway Detailer*, but I'm not really supposed to talk about that product yet.

          * come on, it's a joke, we are NOT working developing this product. At least not that I know of.

On my SS Borla tips, I use 0000 steel wool and a variety of metal polishes. I then put a coat of sealant on them, although it doesn't last very long.

It's your eyes Zach. I think the polished tips are so darn(edited for language-Andy M.) clean that they're just reflecting the light much better.

I can assure you it is the same tip in both pictures. That was taken at a Saturday Clinic back in January, 2008. You can read the original post about these tips at post #9 in the thread at http://meguiarsonline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=21254 along with comments from the car owner in post #10. And, yes, it was all done by hand with just Hot Rims Mag & Aluminum Polish and a terry cloth towel.
