  • A little confused on wheels...

Okay, this is going to make me sound like a complete noob but here it goes...

as far as cleaning the rims on cars im not sure where to start, all that has been needed on my car is some soap and water however, after working on my dads and sisters they need some more. I used some APC on the tires and they came out good, but what about the rims? They are both alloy wheels if that helps? Anyways, what products do you guys recommend to always have on hand to handle any type of wheel you encounter? Ill be going to wally world tonight so all advice is welcome

I find that the Aluminum Wheel Wash is strong enough, though the All Wheel Cleaner is a little stronger. The All Wheel Wash is not safe for uncoated aluminum and some fancy after market brakes.

I spray on the water, spray on the cleaner, use various brushes to agitate it around, and then rinse off.

Every many months, I will bust out the Bug and Tar remover, clay and #105 and give them an even better cleaning.
