I do love the NXT smell, though at that point, you would be re-introducing a smell into the car.

There's good stuff out there which is hygenic, but pricey. It's also approved for use by the medical assoc.I think it's called GEN.If you don't use air con, this will help to eliminate bacteria and microbes.
You leave the spray open in your car and run your vents to let it circulate through the systemThe smell after is okay to and eliminates odours.i do this about once a year as i don't have air con.

yea i know ;]... hope it will come into production in some type of form.. would be great to have a NXT scent inside a car and not outside for others, just after a long tired car detailing, it will definately make a car owner a very happy man

I know you can get them from ads. Have not seen them on shelves in my neck of the woods.

How many applications of the odor eliminator have you done and where did you spray it?

                        Re: Meg's odor eliminator

I sprayed al least 3x all over the interior, floors headliner, everywhere except leather seats.
I didn't do the vents though like I said I would. I'll have to give that a try one of these days.

do I open the hood and spray right into the vents by the wipers?

Into the air vents inside the vehicle would be my first inclination. Try another good interior cleaning and on weekends give the carpet and interior a/c vents a quick spritz with the Odor Eliminator.

Unless you want to get into a very in-depth cleaning by removing interior panels and carpeting or the expensive use of an ozone machine a "maintenance" routine of OE might be the ticket.

I spray into the air intake vents on the cowl (yes, by the wipers). It ensures it gets to all areas of the vents and circulates it through the car a bit too. It took an entire bottle to get rid of the smoke and wet dog smell in my other Neon, but was worth it considering how much a bottle of it costs.

                              Re: Meg's odor eliminator

Today I pulled out the cabin air filter with the car running and a/c full blast on recirculate.

I sprayed at least 20 squirts into it. After a short while I could smell the OE in the car.

After work tonight, I opened the door after it sat out all day and could only smell a pleasant odor of OE and a hint of coconut!

We'll se what happens in a week or so. but yes OE is $3.00 a bottle where I live so it's cheap enough to go through a few bottles/

I've applied a few more applications of OE through the cabin air intake. So far so good, plus I bought some odor eliminating vent sticks that seem to be working.
