  • What causes "hazing" after you wipe off products?

    Hey guys,

I had a question regarding product removal. I just did my detail the other day and after my LSP removal, I got a brand new microfiber and went over entire car to ensure I got it all off.

I decided to go out and check the paint with my xenon light and notice in some spots there is slight "hazing", but if you wipe, the hazing switches directions with however you wipe it. What causes this? You can't see it other then extreme lighting, but I would like to get around this. I have noticed this before when I have applied UQD or M21/NXT 2.0.

I believe this has been discussed before..I need to find the links for you!

How hot and humid was it when you waxed it?

I suggest you take a very damp MF towel and go over the affected areas. That should clear it up.

It was actually fairly cool... In the 60/70's and dry!

I tried searching but could not find anything myself, let me know if you find anything!

        Try this:

I had a question that I added to the Clay Bar removal of Hazing and thought it would be better to make this a new thread since it seems to be going a different route. It started off as this: I have a hazing showing up on a black surface wherever I put NXT Tech Wax on and after the car has been in the sun, I can see where I put

I'm having some trouble finding the link that discussed this in great detail. I do know Mike Phillips and other forum members were quite involved in this discussion. Hopefully someone else can help out.
