  • working on golf cart

Okay, so im not sure how many of you guys have experience with this but im going to do a detail on my dads golf cart sometime soon and had a few questions.

First, what would be recomended for the windscreen? Plastx or the plastic polish and plastic cleaner combo?

For the Top, which is some kind of hard plastic, what should be use on this?

As far as the paint, ill probably just use swirlx by hand as I still dont have a machine yet, and all season dressing on all the trim.

finally the wheels, I really havent worked on any rims other than the ones on my car and they only ever need soap and water, so not knowing what they are exactly what would be the best approach?

    TIA,

    John

A pic would help to answer your question.

        Re: working on golf cart

As far as pics I wont be able to get any until friday or saturday. However, if you can find any specs online it is a basic clubcar eletric model. My main concern as of now is getting the clear plastic windshield clean, and some other things here and there.

If anyone else has done anything of that sort it would help until I can get some pictures but unfortunately I dont have any at the time

PlastX would be fine for the windscreen. Do a small test spot in a corner of course.

Have to do a search for the fellow who tested the Supreme Shine protectant on his golf cart. He keeps his well detailed.

I'm guessing your dad's golf cart looks something like this:

                Is that correct?

exactly! only difference is its green and tan, not that that really makes a difference

Any advice on how to start tackling it?
