Just finished waxing my black land rover and i'm a little disappointed. I used a clay bar, mirror glaze #7, then nxt wax. It just didn't seem to shine like a thought it should. I compare to this when i used the deep crystal system on a maroon ford bronco, all three steps. It was hard to look at that truck when i was done because it shined so much. Is the deep crystal system supposed too be better or did i just not use the right combination with the land rover? any thoughts?

Well the Deep Crystal System is a multi-step system that includes a paint cleaner, (Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner), and the system you just used was a good system but it was a non-abrasive polish and a finishing wax, so the primary difference between the two systems was one included a paint cleaner and the other didn't. So that could maybe be a reason or factor as to the differences?
One other idea is if the Land Rover was in good shape to start with you wouldn't see a huge dramatic in before and after results.
Just to double check,
M07 Show Car Glaze - You applied to a small section at a time, worked the product in gently like skin lotion to your skin, then wiped the excess residue off the paint and moved on to the next section.
NXT Tech Wax - You applied a thin coating and then allowed it to fully dry before wiping it off.
Correct?

Re: Quick question
Might be time to try a different finishing wax then...
NXT works well for most people on most cars but northing's 100%. I remember reading two thread subjects on the same forum by different people, they went something like this,
I hate Gold Class Wax
I love Gold Class Wax
Both guys working on Corvettes and two different experiences.
If you have your receipt, you should be able to return the NXT Tech Wax and pick up a bottle of Gold Class Wax or even M26 Hi Tech Yellow Waxes. Both are very nice products.
