  • Terry cloth towels

A couple of years ago I bought some Meguiars terry cloth towels, these towels are very thick with the satin lined edges. Do they make these towels anymore? I've looked everywhere for them but came up with nothing. Then a couple of weeks ago I thought I found them on ADS so I ordered a pack of three. Well the towels came, and while they are nice, they are not as thick and nice as my old ones. Anyone know where I can get the x-tra thick and soft terry cloth towels with the satin lined edge?

    Thanks
    Joe

If you don't mind them being a little dirty, I can get the old ones pretty cheap and ship them out. They will need a wash because they came from the Megs warehouse.

The older ones are not made anymore with the satin edges (and are far supreior to the new ones IMO)

Did you try cleanacar.com? They *might* have the old ones, as they do carry a host of discontinued Meguiar's items.

Colonel cash, yes I would be interested. I'd like to get about a dozen or so. One question though, when you say dirty, you mean old wax residue and such, correct? Thanks

Unless you have some special purpose for these. I recommend Supreme shine MICROFIBER TOWELS. It's really the way to go these days. They are much softer than cotton. Terry is still good for scrubbing interiors and such, but for paint. I wouldn't use them.

No, dirty as in dusty. I have about 12 at my house that I bought and washed, no problems at all. These are just overstock that a store in town has, came in a huge crate. They are still new, just a little dirty. I can take some photos of mine if you want....have some terry towels and some glass duo towels from the store.

Also, I have found these are equally as good, possibly better at removing some products compared to the supreme shine microfibers. Micros still have their place, but these things are very plush and a joy to work with. Haven't compared them to the new terry towels, but I know these have the satin edges.

I've said it before and I will say it again, the Meguiars Gold Class line is/was one of the best product lines ever introduced to the car care industry.

ColonelCash, I'm in. I am down to three of these towels and someone used one of them to wipe grease off of something. Let me know how you want to handle this, I'll take a dozen. I guess you can PM me.

                          Thanks
