what happens when you put a coat of wax without clay baring?

nothing catastrophic, just may be locking in any dirt or IFO under the wax.

regarding the clay part - am i suppose to clay bar my car EVERY time i want to wax it? if so, that means it's once every 3 months or so.

i've read on other forums that we should only clay bar the car once or twice a year. i live in CA but i'm not sure what kind of contaminants we most frequently get.

Man, I wish I lived close to the garage...lol I would be over there in a hearbeat. Im using like half a bottle of QD and .. it seems like so dang much! I have no idea how much to put on any of the QD .. whats too little, too much...rofl so hard to tell!

When using this sprey and buffing it away you do it with a dry,or a moistured mf towel?

*I* spray a trigger pull on the panel, then lightly wipe with one side of the towel, then flip it over for the final wipe. Dont have to push hand through the panel

I tend to dampen the towel and the surface.

well i found one at kragens after work. got there 30 mins before they closed. i used it when i got home. like a freakin' charm!!!!
