Hi, I really like the shine NXT 2.0 liquid produces but I find that it only lasts through about 2-3 heavy rains. Is the paste version more durable?

At the moment I am in my paste phase. I'm not sure how long this will last, but I like the "feel" of applying a paste wax. Perhaps in six months I will prefer liquid waxes. Who knows?Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

What are you using to determine that the wax is there or not?
The reason I ask is that I recently did some documented tests (with video) on Meguiar's Ultimate Quik Wax (a spray wax that isn't as durable as NXT 2.0) and I was able to go over 3 weeks, including 4+ days of HEAVY rains and it was still beading and sheeting extremely well.
The NXT 2.0 should last even longer if properly applied and cared for.
