  • #9 and microfiber covered foam applicator

I had some micro-marring on the tank of one of my black Harleys. #9 and a microfiber covered foam pad (from CMA) did a pretty good job of removing/filling the marring. Is #9 about the best product to use for small jobs like this? Is a microfiber covered pad better for applying #9 than a terry cloth covered pad?

After applying with the microfiber covered foam pad, did you try re-polishing with a foam applicator pad? I would think this would be the next step toward becoming less aggressive.

      Mike,

I went directly to applying NXT with a foam pad. I'll apply #9 with a foam pad before applying NXT next time. Thanks for the tip.
