All you have to do is use what you are comfortable with, and as long as it is good quality, you will be ok.

So some people are saying that the mitt and sponge would work the same but the sponge will just hold more suds and water...is this true or is using a mitt still the most effective way??

when I started using the GC Ultra Plush Chenille Pad, i never went back to a bone sponge or the wash mitt you stick your hand inside

Okay, ive been using a lambs wool mitt but was curious about other stuff, guess its time to order more things

a lambswool wash mitt is great too, i would purchase one if i could fine one of decent quality around here locally

they have a lot of Meguiars products that are discontinued. This is where i buy a lot of discontinued products such as the GC accesory line and other small stuff like NXT Tire Cleaner, etc.

Thanks everyone for their input. Newbie here, mindlessly roaming around the forums.

So it seems as though, the verdict is sold on the mitt. The GC sponge has been tossed out as a good choice.

Tuck: I can't seem to locate the GC pad at www.cleanacar.com , do you recall which section you found it under?

This may be off-topic, but I'm Canadian, are there any online sites out there that will ship to Canada without too much damage to the wallet?

Those tentacle mitts do seem popular in stores as well these days... dont know how they work.

Im really tempeted to buy that Bone sponge... But all my money is being reserved for wheels
