Ok to use DC cleaner to remove tech wax and remove possible water spots with the PC and then polish with DC polish and apply the Tech wax? Also what are the current opinions of using the California Duster and a quality car cover for outside day use as my car is always garaged at night. Having never used either in the past, are there any negatives to their use? Thanks for any input.

I actually do the exact same thing. The only thing I warm with the duster is that it will often leave smears on the finish. Not scratches. This is easily fixed with some quick detailer. I dust mine before I put the cover on it. This is important because it will reduce the risk of scratching when you put the cover on. Then I wipe it down with quick detailer every two to three day. Keeps my car looking good and I haven’t had to wash it with the hose in over three months.
