What is the pros/cons of the two meguiars pads offered? I have some of the MF pads already but the new wax came with a purple foam applicator.

Re: Foam Or MF Applicator Pads?
I'd like to piggyback on this thread and ask if anyone sees any benefit to applying a synthetic sealant with a microfiber pad, as opposed to foam pad? I have seen this recommended by a few people on another site.Swirls hide in the black molecular depths, only waiting for the right time to emerge and destroy your sanity.

Re: Foam Or MF Applicator Pads?
Both will work great but here is what I do:
I use MF Applicators to apply all polishes and paint cleaners.
I use Foam Applicators to apply my waxes/sealants.
The Foam is very soft and gentle compared to the MF so that's why.
MF Applicators are also great for apply dressings and wheel polish, unlike the foam.Matt

Re: Foam Or MF Applicator Pads?
I use MF applicators when I need some bite, and for applying interior products. I use foam for wax/sealant. I felt like I was prematurely wiping off the LSP when I used a MF applicator for that purpose.Heatgain (Gary)

Re: Foam Or MF Applicator Pads?
It's really personal preference, both when used correctly are gentle to the paint. A large pad can be easier to hold and will cover more surface are when spreading a product out. It can also help to spread the pressure from your hand/fingers out over the pad. One small negative is that a larger pad will absorb more of your product into itself.
