    would these steps be ok

    last summer is the first time i started to get serious about detailing.

    though i started to late in the summer and did not have time to finish the truck, yeah i know excuses, excuses, and i have no garage or access to one.

    here is a few shots after clay and 2 coats of wax






    the paint is not too bad so i was thinking of doing the following if i read right. clay, what i did not clay yet, then 207 then 107 then wax. or should the cleaner be used before the clay?

    I would not clay unless it was after a fresh wash because you could build up contaminants, so if you want, wash and then clay the parts you missed.

    What are 207 and 107?

      i am assuming he means 105 and 205, but you may not need the 105 if the paint is in pretty good shape already imo

        I forgot to say wash, sorry. I never have time to do a whole vehicle,i mean wax clay etc, so prob in a few weeks when it gets a bit warmer i am going to resume clay work, i do know what you mean about washing befroe claying, and i have been doing the.

        So the cleaner wax is not really necessary? just the m107 polish then wax, though 2 coats of wax still look good as per the photos.

          What is the 107/207 you are refering to?

          You want to wash, then go right to claying everything, then clean/polsih/wax.

              If I were you, here is exactly what I would do...

              1. Wash

              2. Clay the entire car (if possible).

              3. Clean paint with either M205 or M80 (going straight to M105 is too drastic and unnecessary, unless you are performing correction). This step is very important on a white vehicle, probably more noticeable in what you are doing than any other colored car.

              4. M07 Polish - Completely optional. If you are pressed for time, leave this step out.

              5. NXT 2.0 x 2

              I would not use a "cleaner wax" because "I" prefer a product like M80 which is very versatile and leaves the paint looking amazing. From all those who have tried M205, they say it is even better, so you might want to go M205 in step 3 but I've never actually used it.

                so then as per suggestions

                1.wash
                2.clay
                3.M80 though the paint is not "bad"
                4.M07
                5.Wax

                will the m07 benefit or not if i used the m80 or not?.

                what i mean is, will using m80 make the m07 look better after i wax?

                and all this will be done by hand, a pannel at a time, when i have time

                  Personally if it were me, I would skip the M07 pure polish. M80 already has a lot of polishing oils in it and I'm not sure that you would notice much of a difference by adding M07 after M80. You can always try M07 on a small section and see for yourself before doing the entire vehicle with it though.

                    i removed 07 from my cart, how is the sprayer on the meguiars last touch spray bottle. Anything else i should consider? I'd like to place an order soon

                      The Last Touch spray bottle does not come with a trigger sprayer. You have to buy the sprayer separately. The standard trigger sprayer that they sell for those bottles should be fine though.

                        alright, i also just added mag and aluminum polish for the wheels and hot rims chrom polish for the bumpers

                              done, the only question i have now is when i resume claying where i left off b4 the winter came "which i hope is soon", followed by #80 then my wax. will i see a difference between the pannels that were clayed and 2 coats wax applied b4 the winter? and the ones i still have to do, will 80 make a noticeable difference on these pannels compared to the others
