Can I Polish These Wheels?

I'm just wondering if i can polish these sets of wheels... It claims to be 15" x 6" Alloy Wheel
Machined Lip With Silver Face. Replica; Alloy Wheel, 15 X 6, 8 Spoke and also an Aluminum...
Is it possible if I can use Hot Rims Mag and Aluminum Polish? Any Ideas??

AND also as u can see my "avatar" (under my name) can those rims be polished with the Mag and Aluminum? They're burnished,titanium silver.... is there any polish out there that is right for those wheels? My friends say I could... I want some more feedback before i go out and buy the products...

If it is exposed metal, then yes. If it has a silver painted coating, or a clear coat, or some type of anodization, then you wouldn't want to use a metal polish.

Judging from the description, the "silver face" sounds like it was painted silver to me. If you look up closely at them, does it appear to look relatively similar to a silver car (varying degrees of light and dark silver)?

If so, stick with paint products.

That looks to be a fairly typical painted wheel so using a metal polish would be the wrong choice. Treat it as you would the paint on the car, meaning you can clay them, use a paint cleaner (SwirlX, M80, etc) and wax them. With the spokes being coated with silver paint odds are the machined lip is also clear coated, but check with the manufacturer to be certain.

thanks! Adding to the question... what about titanium silver, burnished wheels? My friend says I can use the Mag and Aluminum Polish for it but I'm not so sure...
