Working by hand, I would want Ult. Compound instead of ScratchX. I wouldnt plan on SwirlX doing a whole lot....
ok so that means you recommend i use normal car wash first instead of wash and wax and should go for ultimate compund rather than swirl x as i will be doing everything by hand???

Well, I just mean that products can be expensive overseas, so you may want to have a regular car wash like Gold Class or Deep Crystal for when you detail after, and then use the Wash and Wax for when just washing. Unless the prices end up the same there.

And yes, in most cases, Ult. Compound is what you would want by hand. Defect removal by hand is hard, and so usually need the stronger product.
