Don't forget....after putting liquid soap in the jar, add water. If you don't, the plastic tube will become clogged plus it might not be able to pull up pure soap liquid.
Of course, after adding water to the jar, your soap mixture is already diluted, so the different adjustment holes have a different dilution than what the instructions read. I don't carry a calculator with me while I wash, nor would I know what numbers or formulas to punch in anyway, so I use a little chart someone else made to know what dilution I'm actually using.
If you just dump "a glug or two" of liquid soap then add water in the jar, you're going to go through a lot of soap, as Black Bart said.

Thanks, Brandon for the detailed look at a foam gun. I will be waiting for your test of the unit. I am thinking about getting one. Good luck with it.

all my quick disconnects are gilmour (they make good quality products) and they can be bought at your local lowes for $5.98, and they also come with a lifetime warranty.

I got one from ADS two days ago. I ended up giving it it's test run yesterday and was really impressed. The Super Soap foams really good with this unit.

You may also want to consider buying some quick connects for you nozzles.
I got these at Sears this evening for $7.99.

If I'm not mistaken Griot's, and Autogeek also sells them. I think their gonna make my life a bit easier... hopefully. I'll let you all know.

i love my foam gun! it will definitely find a place in your detailing arsenal and it's worth every penny that it costs IMO. be sure to tighten both the brass screws that are located on the top of the foam gun and on the side of the brass bar, you do not want to lose those!

I don't own one, but the normal car washes call for 1oz per gallon, the D line can be diluted up to 400:1 so with the numbers you have with that, you can dilute the D line then put it into your gun and use a setting.....

Not being as great with math at the moment couldn't give you a number.

Those who do have one, what setting are you using for car wash soap?
