Exterior Rubber Seals

What is the best product to use on exterior rubber seals around windows and door frames - Gold Class Trim Detailer, ASD, M40, something else?

I have heard many use #40 for me I just give them a wipe with some APC+ and call it good.

Well, Subaru (and my Dad's Toyota) both recomend a spray silicone lubricant, and we picked up a can of it to split.

So I have used that, and also used All Season Dressing, sort of alternating between them, though mostly ASD.

i used megs tire gel 4 months ago or so and havent had to re-apply since. the seals were dried out and looked gray. they are still black as new today!

i use Gold Class Trim detailer but i think i am going to try Supreme Shine Protectant on it

I Use GC trim detailer for almost everything LOL. It's only three dollars a bottle

I use M40 or Hyper Dressing.

I like to use M40. Also, a thin layer of dielectric grease works very well too.

Once a year, I treat our rubber seals with Dielectric grease then after that over the course of the year, I use M40. The seals seem to really like M40 and it cleans them pretty good too!

Almost 135,000 miles on the Yukon and the seals still look good (although starting to flatten a bit.....)

i like M40 because it cleans and conditions in one easy step. i am debating to either buy a gallon or just another spray bottle of it

I debated that but I aquired a gallon of it and glad I did and the M40 spray bottle is still working good.

i will probably buy the gallon considering i use it on my:

1.My Silverado
2.My Dad's Silverado
3.My Mom's Toyota 4Runner
4. and i also use it on my grandmothers chevy Malibu(it looks great on her plastic mirror caps)
