Is it possible to wax my car using Gold Class as a first coat then followed by Ultimate Quik Detailer?

See, I thinking by doing that, it gives my car the protection it needs from a wax and achieving a better shine coming from the UQD?!

This is something that I'd like to take as an alternative to Steps 1, 2 and 3.

Yes, you certainly can do this and you should get an excellent result from it. Your line of thinking is valid - Gold Class wax will offer the protection and UQD will help to boost the shine between waxings and offer the same hydrophobic polymers found in NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0

If by Steps 1, 2 and 3 you're referring to the Deep Crystal System then no, the above Gold Class Wax/UQD will not replace the Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner step at all. Gold Class Wax is a polish/wax so it will offer some of the benefits of Deep Crystal Step 2 Polish but to a slightly lower level. On a lighter colored vehicle you won't really notice much difference but a very critical eye might detect a difference on a black vehicle.

In any event, you would be well served to use a clay bar and paint cleaner once a year on a daily driver, and apply your Gold Class Wax 3 or 4 times per year and use the UQD as often as you like.
