  • Deep Crystal Steps

I need to know how aggressive/abrasive the Deep Crystal PAINT CLEANER is. I ordered it by accident instead of the Pure Polish a While back. I explained the cheap paint job (single layer w/clear mix, etc). I ordered the Step 2 Pure Polish, which is what I actually wanted tonight. I can't imagine Step 1 being very aggressive at all, but thanks.

On this Cheap Paint, Hopefully I will:

    -step 1
    -step 2
    -nxt 2.0

That's ok, I am sure i will be alright. I just need to check so I don't go through the paint.

DC1 is a very mild product.
If you have used A12 Cleaner Wax before I believe that DC1 is a little bit more aggressive than A12.

How did you apply DC1? Did you just apply and remove or did you work the product against the paint?

            Re: Deep Crystal Steps

It is very mild, but it's also how you apply it, put it on a piece of sandpaper and you know what will happen, by hand with a yellow applicator won't do much

How did you apply it and/or going to apply it?

            It's a great product.

The product itself (looks at Aaron...haha) is the mildest paint cleaner available from Meguiar's.

Most likely by hand with the Yellow Meg's Applicators. I will be gentle

But I would really like to use my G110, but I'm not sure if Step 1&2 are made for that?

                  Re: Deep Crystal Steps

I just looked at my bottles, it suggests to use the yellow applicator, but I know I used DC1 with my G100, so I don't think you'll do any harm using your G110 with DC1. DC2 is a pure polish, no cleaner, just a gloss coat, you can use your G110, do one section at a time unless you have a second body to wipe off the polish as you go with the G110 . I put polish on by hand (DC2 or M07) like a wax and a thin coat then wipe off.

But! always do a test section

Yeah, you should be able to use them on the G110.

                      Re: Deep Crystal Steps

Prior to finding the pro line I used the Deep Crystal line with my PC and had very good results... So, yes you can use Deep Crystal #1, #2 and even #3 via PC, they will give great results. The DC line are a very good 'entry level' products, inexpensive, easy to find, easy to use and best of all they work!
