On my vehicle, doing it this way, practically all the water just runs off, and then my small waffle weave simply dries the rest. No wipe marks on my car, as I just lay the cloth on and pat and then lift off. The sides usually need no drying at all.

Between that and the leaf blower, my black car never gets marks on it from drying. Give it a try!

It is GREAT Mike. Nothing seems to stick to the car, and as mentioned, gently running the water over the car, the M16 just makes it pretty well all run off. I haven't a lot of experience with other waxes (or brands) but this stuff is super. I know there are different rules in Canada, and M16 is not being made anymore, but how is it we can get from Canada? Is this old stock or Meguiar's make it in Canada?
      Thanks, Diane

Canada as well as other countries don't have as strict pollution laws as the United States.

We have a government agency called the EPA which stands for the Environmental Protection Agency. They pass rules and regulations on our business and industries to protect the earth from what they deem as unacceptable pollution. Not sure other countries have this kind of agency supposedly working for everyone's best interest so products like M16 are still available in these other countries.

When you look at the kind of pollution some countries put into the air, water and land, a simple product like M16 is the least of all of our worries.

Thanks Mike, but I know all that. I was asking about the M16 I got FROM Canada. Is it old stock, or does Mequiar's have a Canadian branch that makes it up there for them?

We still make it but only for export markets.

I 'think' that the amount of V.O.C.'s, or volatile organic compounds in a can of this wax exceeds some type of extreme limit set by the EPA

So it's not the pollution spewing out of factories into the air or rivers with no provisions for extracting the offending contaminants around the world that are polluting the earth, it's a can of car wax.

Sometimes our government goes a little overboard in their efforts to protect U.S. citizens from ourselves. The flip side of the coin is there are governments of some countries that do little or nothing to keep from spewing pollution into the environment which the results of pale in comparison to the effects caused by a can of wax, in fact it's a joke. We need to export our EPA bureaucracy to these countries.
