want to apply nxt 2.0

    want to apply nxt 2.0

    Hello all! my name is benny and i am a long time peeper first time poster! lol.
    anyway onto my question. i completed a 4 step detail regimen on my paint about three weeks ago. yesterday after a wash i wanted to put another coat of wax on my car and decided on meguiar's gold class(1st coat was meg's dc wax). we'll, now after reading all the reviews on nxt 2.0 i think i might have made a mistake, acct nxt 2.0 is supposed to last longer than gold class. with winter coming i want the most durable wax........

    so, would it be wise to apply nxt 2.0 over the gold class, or would it be a waste of time? with winter time around the corner all i am after at this point is the most protection for my daily driver!

    Just make sure the paint is clean, either wash or wipe clean with a quick detailer and then apply a thin coat of NXT to the paint as it is.

        well, i washed the car today and did a complete interior detail. i wasn't going to apply the nxt 2.0 because the car looked and felt fantastic! but i had some energy left and decided to put some painters tape down the middle of my hood to do a 50/50 comp. so i applied nxt 2.0 with my pc on one side let it dry for about 30 minutes. buffed it out and man what a difference!!!!

        we'll needless to say i ended up doing the whole car! i taped all of the trim with 3m (1st time doing it) and went to work with my pc. i have to admit that spending an extra 40 minutes taping the trim and emblems really was worth it. as a matter of fact as i was taping up the car a friend of my neighbor asked me if i did body work? lol.

        nxt 2.0 made me a believer. tommorow its supposed to be 70 and sunny in chicago so i plan to do the wifes car. since my car is always prestine, before and after photos would not have been drastic. now my wifes car on the other hand is another story.......... i'll make sure to take some pics of that project!
