I found a little trick the other day while using the new Quik Detailer in the black bottle. It kicks butt on everything even windows. I have been using it on the glass on my new car and it cleans it perfectly, not one streak left behind. I have had people ask me how I got the glass that clean, it looks like it isnt even there. Even better than that it acts like rain x on all the windows and makes it very easy to see in the rain. Has anyone else tried this? Also is the newer Quik Detailer sold in the stores similar or the same as M-135 spray detailer?

Originally posted by new2detailing View PostI agree with one caveat. I recommend every now and then to wash the windows with soap or Windex to break down the UQD . UQD tends to deposit on the windows. About every three or times, I will use Windex to prepare the windows and then apply UQD.

A little off subject but, talking about windows, I use RainX on my windows and love it. Has anyone tried about the newer version of rainx? Not sure what its called off the top of my head but. Just curious______________________

@kev4bama:
For lack of better words, I find it tend to build up after repeated uses on the windows and doesn't wipe off well. (now this just happens on the windows after repeated applications). I like to clean the windows with either Stoner's IG or Windex , wipe , then apply UQD after every forth application. I also tend to use UQD about every three days on my daily driver. I find it to be a fantastic quick detailer and love being able to use it on windows (some other QD's are not designed for glass). On occasion Target has a 2 for $12 sale on Meguiars products and I always stock up on UQD.
