  • Wash - Clay - Pure Polish - Wax

    Hey Guys,

    Me again!

Can I wash my car, then dry it, then clay it, then use the pure polish, then go right to waxing it?

Do I have to wait any period of time before going on to each step?

Really looking forward to waxing my car for the first time! I've never waxed a car the correct way according to what I've read here. I think the last time I waxed a car was about 15 years ago, and the internet was just getting started.

    Thanks

    Mark

Yes, that is the correct way to do it. Just make sure you wipe the paint completly clean after each step.. Preferrably with a Supreme Shine Microfiber. They are simply awesome.

Does the paint need cleaned at all?

You do have the correct order listed, but you would be skipping the cleaning step.

If you wanted to keep it simple starting off, another good process would be wash, clay, ColorX, wax.

I would go with the paint cleaning step also.
