    Welcome to MOL Blue Reflection!

Just a friendly heads-up, I moved your thread into Detailing 101 as that is the best place for most questions.

As for answering your question, I am not sure I understand what you mean.

Are you referring to a lack of clarity in the paint? Is it caused from lots of small scratches?

There would have to be swirls or scratches or micro maring. To blur the shine.

If you could post a pic, that always helps.

Just a guess from your description, you may need to prep the paint better, before the coat of wax. Read through this and see if you've covered all of the steps.

If its fast, loud, and runs on a flammable liquid...count me in.

When viewing your paint at an angle to see something like the below?

If so, then the problem is orange peel and there is now easy, quick or safe remedy.

How to place an image in your messages

The most important thing about putting pictures on the Internet is to,
                            1. Crop out the fluff
                            2. Resize to a size people can look at without having to horizontal scroll
