  • Quick question on Glass Wipes

I totally use Meguiars wax and scratch stuff, but my questions is about glass wipes. I was on the run and looking for something to just touch up the inside and outside.

Man- I was totally overwhelmed by the assortment.

Thoughts? Would you use Meguiar's Glass Wipes or go for Stoners? I happened to be at the Target right before I was heading to Pepboys and also noticed the Armor All.

    Would love opinions.

    Thanks so much.

Our glass wipes were discontinued, the best way to wipe glass clear is to use a dedicated dry cloth to wipe a dedicated liquid cleaner.

Instead of using a wipe, maybe consider a quality glass cleaner like NXT Glass Cleaner and a quality wiping cloth for removing the cleaner and drying the glass?

The only product in wipe form that seems to work well are the QID wipes. Good for quick touch ups on the road.

I've tried some labled Goodyear or Goodrich and was not impressed. These were just small (baby wipe sized or less) pieces of paper soaked in alcohol. By the time you get through a windshield you've gone through most of a $2+ package. They didn't streak but didn't clean too well either.

I would buy the Meguiars concentrated glass cleaner, and a couple of glass microfibers. I know you want something quick. However at what cost. It really does not take that long using the concentrate.

I recently purchased some microfiber glass cleaning towels from ADS. They work wonderfully.
