.... i can say when they painted the door the first time they didnt remove the keypad were the bubble started. i can say i saw them redo it and they removed everything....
Are you *everything* was removed including the lower molding and mirror? A good shop will not take a chance on masking around any type of trim unless it is absolutely necessary.
I have had the same issue In my body shop about 1/2 dozen times in the past 6 months and it's a PPG problem. Do you know which paint mfg was used ?
not sure . i went to the the shop attached to the ford dealer. not sure what paint they use . but i can say when they painted the door the first time they didnt remove the keypad were the bubble started. i can say i saw them redo it and they removed everything. so hopefully this should be the last time this happens. i did ask them is it ok to use waxes/ q/ds with silicone? he said yes no prb at all... i thought this happend because i use silicone based products but he asured me it wasnt . silicones are totoly fine!!!!!for cured paint ..
thank you mike !!! and i understand about the pics . so yes there going to reclear it for me . ill drop it off in the next few weeks. he knows the way i am so i agree this should be the end of any problems hopefully... thanks again .. the forum is great by the way !!!

I had a similar situation several years ago. It took three trips back to the body shop to get it right and still it was not perfect.
Sometimes perfection is just not posssible. My perfectionism has caused lots of repaints and sometimes the problem only got worse.
I have always taken my vehicles to "top notch" shops. A couple of times I took my car or truck to a different shop "on my own dime". What a waste of time and money.
My suggestion would be to find a new body shop. Hope they got everything resolved with the wet sand. Give it another look once the truck sits for a while.
update!! finally got the truck back from body shop. they re did the entire door . but i had to go back again because there were little dimples in the paint the next day i noticedthey had to wet sand those areas then polish them out . so now finally all is good. allthough ill need to polish the door myself . they left swirls of course.. just happy to have the truck back ..

It is pretty standard practice to reclear an entire panel rather than try to blend it. The color coat can often/usually be blended and then the panel recleared.
Just something to consider.
They messed up the first repair.
They messed up the second repair.
You still need to finish the job after their third try.
You may not be done yet. New paint shouldn't have "little dimples" in it.
You might want to keep all that in mind the next time you need to have any body work done.
