  • My impressions of NXT 2.0

Yes, I finally got a chance to actually put 2.0 on my Mustang. I've used 2.0 on several other vehicles with dramatic results. But to actually watch rain jump off my car was truely amazing. Actually my wife saw it first, exclaiming "It's Hailing" I ran out to witness the large droplets making contact with the paint then, immediately jumping off.
Just today while washing, I was impressed with the pre and post rinse. The Hydrophobic Polymers were evacuating water just as day one. Also, 2.0's look, you know what I'm referring to.. That Magical "POP" was still present. The only downside was a bit of dust attraction. I countered this by applying Ultimate Quick Detailer after the polymers setup. Great job as usual Meguiars..

Definitely.. Mike, What Meguiars stance on applying UQD on a freshly wax/sealed surface? For optimal results wait the 12 hours for the polymers to fully cure then use Ultimate Quick Detailer?

I agree. I was a Gold Class user for years and finally tried NXT 2.0 this year. Don't get me wrong GC is still a superb product but the way NXT makes my paint *POP* just blows me away. Also it's so effortless to remove. And don't forget the pleasant smell. And the shine. The durability. The deep wet look. The way rain dances off the surface. Oops...sorry...Am I rambling? Did I mention that NXT 2.0 is awesome!?

Your 96GT look good. From the looks of it you have the slightly darker Blue. On my 97GT the blue is Royal blue, Metalic with hughes of purple. Love that color. Its the reason I bought the car, considering it was an automatic. A few years after purchasing it I swapped in a Tremec TKO500 and couldn't have been happier.
