Hi guys. I'm thinking about getting a car bra for my car. What do you guys think? I had one in the past and had great results with it. I used it on and off, mostly on for over 5 years. People say they aren't good but I liked mine. I had the entire bumper/hood part and started using just the hood part after a while. I found that keeping the bra clean and the hood waxed had no ill efect on the paint. I have the opertunity to get a bra for my car at a great price. I don't like the idea of putting on the clear type. What do you all think? I will mostly , if not only use it in the winter. I live in New England and sometime the weather gets pretty bad and lots of sand/salt get dumped on the roads. I drive on the highway and I think the bra will offer me the best protection. I don't know why I just don't jump for it. Like I said, the price is great and free shipping.

I have one on an older honda, keep in mind that salt may accumulate underneath and with fabric vibration and wind- it can get some buff type scratches at the hem.
We have clays and in Georgia, salt is probably worse.
Like car covers it should have a good non abrasive material, fit well and clean/wax under it often.
Use it maybe in winter? Off the rest of year? -

Yeah that's the idea. On for the winter months and off the rest of the year. It semed to really help on my old car. I never seemed to have any problems. I kept the under side of the bra clean and cleaned/waxed thehood as often as I could. I'm still not sure.The protection that they offer would be nice.Comment
