I had a bottle of old formula 21 and some NXT 2.0 and decided to experiment a little. My truck hadn't been waxed for 7 months or so and the straight 21 was holding up pretty well. I wanted the hydrophobic quality of NXT 2.0 and the longevity of 21. I applied it with a UDM on a finishing pad and wiped it off with a MF. No streaking and easy removal. The gloss was amazing! I tried it on my brother-in-law's '03 black Dodge Ram and the results were the same. He said his truck never looked that good. I am going to wash my truck today(I waxed last week) and see if it holds up well. Has any one else mixed products like this before? How did it work?

Re: Mixed 21 and NXT 2.0
Just remember that mixing products is not recomended by Meguiar's and that you are probably better off putting down a coat of M21 then a coat of NXT 2.0 on top of that. That way you stll have the hydrophobic technology as well as the longevitiy of M21. I can say though that in terms of longevity, NXT 2.0 is far beyond M21.
