  • I just bought 14 Meguiar's products, I need to know how to use them

I will be using those products in a 2008 car (about 6 months of use), car color is black metalic.

list of Meguiar's products I got:
Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner
    Gold Class Liquid Wax
    Endurance High Gloss
    Quik Interior Detailer
    Quik Detailer
    PlastX
    ScratchX
    Microfiber Wash Mitt
    Foam Applicator Pad
    2-50grm Clay Bars
    1 Microfiber Towel
Meguiar's X2000 Water Magnet Drying Towel
    Meguiar's G-12718 NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (18-Ounce Liquid)
    Meguiar's X2020 Supreme Shine Microfiber - Pack of 3
I will make questions and number them, so if possible when answering number the replies too.

1 - Is 1x 50grm Clay Bar enough for 1 car? I mean can I clean the whole car using 1x 50grm Clay Bar?
2 - Confirm this please and let me know if I can improve: I wash the car with the Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner + Microfiber Wash Mitt, then I dry it using the Meguiar's X2000 Water Magnet Drying Towel. Once the car is dry I use the 50grm Clay Bar + Quick Detailer on the whole car, finally I wax it.
3 - Which wax should I use first: Gold Class Liquid Wax or Meguiar's G-12718 NXT Generation Tech Wax 2.0 (18-Ounce Liquid)? I put the wax in the car painting with the Foam Applicator Pad, then I wait like 30 minutes and I remove it using Meguiar's X2020 Supreme Shine Microfiber, right?
4 - How much Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner for 10 liters of water?
5 - What should I use to put the Endurance High Gloss in the tires? What about Quik Interior Detailer? and about PlastX? and about ScratchX? Like a ordinary chamois is fine?
6 - What's the diferent between PlastX and Quik Interior Detailer? Should I use both at the same time inside the car?
7 - When waxing a car like I posted, how much wax should I spend (how many ml)?

I got more doubts but I don't remember now, I will post them here as soon as I remember them

    ty all guys

I'll post a couple of links for you to read, you can find most if not all of the questions. Reading the links can answer some questions and clear up things that you haven't asked

    Links
    Meguiar's 5-Step Paint Care Cycle
What it means to remove a scratch out of anything...
How To Remove Swirls By Hand
How to remove a defect by hand with ScratchX
Newbie - Which "tools" do I need
    NXT Cure Time
Topping NXT aka "How to top one type of wax with a different type of wax
Meguiar's clay system: proper size of clay bar?
Stained Paint caused by Tire Dressing Sling
    The Swipe Test
How To Measure Car Wash to Water Ratio?
    How To Apply Interior Dressings

I do have to say that PlastX is a product that restores clarity in clear plastics, it removes light scratches/oxidation/contamination/stain/ from the surface using one kind of abrasives. Quik Interior Detailer is a non abrasive product that will clean every surface in the interior on your car.

Basically you would use PlastX on your headlights, rear lights, some clear plastic surface in your car, IF you are going to use in a painted plastic be sure to test it first in a small area where you won't notice it if anything goes wrong.

Re: I just bought 14 Meguiar's products, I need to know how to use them

Definatley look over the links, but here are few other answers you might not find:

      1. Well, probably 1 bar will be more than enough, if it looks to be in good shape.

      2. The only improvement to the process would be some kind of cleaner and polish, or at least a cleaner wax. Assuming you want to keep things simple at first:

      1. Wash/dry
      2. Clay
      3. Cleaner/Wax (A small sample came in the clay kit. It may or may not be enough for an entire car.)
      4. Wax

      3. I might just use Nxt 2.0 only... I'd hate to top it and lose the water repelling properties.

      4. Ummm... 1 ounce per gallon. So that should equal per 29ml per 3.7 liters. So about 78ml per 10L.

      5. Microfiber towels are good for the Quick Interior Detailer. You would want a foam applicator, like the Hi-Tec Applicators, for the other products. (or generic local brand for the tires)

      6. PlastX is to remove swirls from clear plastic. Quick Interior Detailer is to dust the interior.

      7. Well, you would tend to put a small/medium coin size blob on your pad, then spread it thin. The better the surface is prepared (clay/clean/polish) the more the wax will spread, and the larger area it will cover.

        ty for the answers guys,

I just washed my car today with the Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo & Conditioner and the Microfiber Wash Mitt. I was amazed how good these 2 products are comparing to what I'd used before.
I put 60 ml of the car wash for 7.5 liters of water, I finished washing and they were a lot of shampoo so I washed my mom's car as well, and there were still shampoo. I am saving what's left (mixed with water) to wash another car tomorrow morning, do you guys think that's a good idea?
How much shampoo and how much water you guys spend to wash 1 car? Cause next time I will definitively use less shampoo.
