does anyone know if the latest batch of G110's being shipped have the on/off switch or any other early problems fixed? been waiting to buy one.

The failure rate for the first G110's and the G220's was below the industry standard, it can seem like it was more of a problem because whenever someone had a problem they would post about it on the forum so it gets a lot of attention.
What you don't see is the majority of customer's posting that their tool is working perfectly. Most of the time if you buy something like for example a Craftsman Screwdriver and it works perfectly... you don't go up to the Sears Craftsman Discussion Forum and post that your new screwdriver is working perfectly with some pictures of you using it without problems.
See the difference?

Mike while that is true, it's only common sense for people to post problems and not that it's working fine... it's supposed to work just fine

Mike and all i was one of the individuals who had problems with my g110...i called megs sent it back and the new one is great i did 10 cars with it already and no issues (knocked on wood at this point)......BTY my foam applicator pads are also in great working order

I bought mine when people were posting failure and I bought mine with "fear" but again sure Meguiar's will back me up against any problem I'll have and I just have to say MINE IS WORKING PERFECTLY!
