Re: Change from NXT to another product???
The first time I tried #21v2.0 it was streaking in a couple of areas. To rectify this After I clayed the affected areas, I spent about 5 minutes vigorously shaking the product. I have not had any problems since. I really love the look it gives my cars.

Re: Change from NXT to another product???
Also saw you were interested in Pinnacle Souveran. I did a review some time ago with 9 different waxes, one of which included Souveran which I believe you should take a quick read:
The 9 wax showdown!
It is a good wax, though I have found it does not protect the paint very well, and offers no benefit in terms of looks over any of the Meguiar's waxes, even their Cleaner Wax. For me, the only redeeming quality of it is that it really is an easy wax to work with being WOWO with no streaking and being very easy removal/application. The WOWO factory could also be the reason why it doesn't protect well or last long, but that is another story for another day.

Re: Change from NXT to another product???
On occasion, I have streaking problems with NXT as well. I have found this is usually due to either a towel with product build-up being used; I often have two towels to remove one product, one clean, one 'dirty'. Basically, I buff most of the product off with a clean towel (most product build up, so 'dirty'), than switch over to the 'clean' towel for a final buff.
However, I wouldn't point the problem at this in your situation, rather the environment you are working in. Hot and humid or cold and humid are never good environments to work in. The problem is that products are meant to dry onto the surface, and having a humid environment means that there is a lot of moisture in the air, making it MUCH harder, if not impossible for products to properly dry. I wouldn't doubt if a dehumidifier in your garage would solve the whole problem, however there is no need to be that obsessed (or is there).
NXT 2.0 is MUCH better than the previous version about working better in a wider variety of environments, however it still has its extremes. I would honestly look into M26 or perhaps even X-press wax as it is meant made to dry as quick as possible (just a thought). I have even heard that M20 is another miracle-doer when it comes to being easy on/off even in the worst conditions. I personally have also had a lot of luck with ColorX and M66.
Personally? I would do M26 or M20.

Change from NXT to another product???
I know that has been addressed in several threads, I searched and tried all the tips, but I'm still getting massive streaking on NXT 2.0
I've applied by PC, by hand...I've got three VERY THIN coats on my Boxster, but I still have "oily streaks"
I've never had this problem with any other product. For years I used Gold Class..then I switched to Zaino as my top coat, (I personally loved Z5 and Z2pro...I know there isn't alot of love on this board for the product, but on a well prepped car, it has looked great for me) but when I got the Porsche I thought I would go back to 100% Meguiars. (Mostly due to THIS forum...you guys are the best!!!)
I love #80, #9, #7..but I'm not feeling the love for NXT. I've seen some GREAT looking cars on here using NXT so thats what sold me... I've tried UQD and wiping slowly, tried applying by hand instead of PC...the last coat I let set for over 1.5 hrs before removal (I live in Hot and Humid Southwest Florida...even working in the garage it's hot!)
Any other ideas??? will #21 give me the same problem??
Will #26 look as deep and reflective??
This weekend I am going to detail the car again to get rid of the streaks, so I'm starting from scratch. This will be the steps:
1)Wash: Gold class wash
2) clay with QD
3) #80 with PC and W8006 pad
4)#9 with PC and W9006 pad( I know, probably not needed, just want my paint smooth as glass)
5) Top coat???????
Last time I used #7 before NXT, I'm leaving it out this time...maybe the oils reacted with the NXT??? ( I LOVED how the Boxster looked after being buffed with #7...super rich..Like you could dive into the car!!)
Top coat products I have in stock: NXT , Zaino Z5 and Z2, Gold Class liquid, Pinnacle Souveran (I have yet to try this product, was given to me as a gift. A friend uses it on his Z06 and it looks incredible...afraid I'll like it too much and at $70.00 a jar, I don't know if I want to get into that habit!)
Willing to purchase any product to get the results I'm after. Looking for maximum depth and reflective abilities. (Aren't we all!!) Since we are on the Meguiars forum I expect to only get Meguiars product recommended, but I'm open to ANY product you have all used with great results.
