  • got bored, first time using rotary

Well was bored and out of work today in the shop, so I headed down to the body shop, after talking with the guys a while I got the courage to buff my car with a rotary using a foam pad, I only buffed the hood to see the difference and wow, it removed almost all of the spiderweb / swirls that were in the car, with thier guidance it came out great and according to them was not even close to burning / damaging paint.
I'm still gonna buy a dual action polisher and some dacp / glaze...
What do you all think? Of course there are some imperfections still just to deep to polish out...
    Before

after... its evening so I don't have any of in the sun...

There is still some slight scratches but I'm hoping for fathers day of getting a G110 and finishing the car...?
    What do you think?

ohh, the products I used were via company named presta
Used there strata ultra cutting creme first followed up by chroma 1500 polish, anyone ever used these or have a comparison as to what they may be equal to from meguiars?
Buffer speed was pretty low to, they didn't let me do anything to dangerous I'd say 1500-2000 rpms

Jere are some in the sun, as you can see there are still tiny little "pits" still left, i beleive from multiple acid rain etching etc...
Could I go further with a pc and 83/80? Or is it as best as its gonna get?
This is the first time this car had ever been machined buffed..
