    im powerpolishing a 2004 black 300i series with minor sctarches/swirls. and a 7424, any info or experience with this clearcoat being hard or soft, all i have are the meg's pads, all of them and 83, 7, nxt, and 4. i was going to use 83 with a 8006pad followed with 7 and nxt with a 9006 seporate pads of course. hows this sound,
    i would like to try 82 or a less agressive but this is all i have, and able to buy at this time

    Well all of the BMW's that i have worked on have had relatively hard paint but that does not go for all and may not apply to yours. The best way is to do a small test area on a panel and see if you can make it look the way you want and then once you have gotten your technique down and know just what it takes to get your desired results then move onto the rest of the car but continue to work in small sections

            i just finished the BMW, took 7hrs and it was in good shape to begin with butt could always be better, im happy with the results, i had to use everything from a clay bar to#4 with a 7006 but mostly 83 with 8006, than 7 with 9006 than nxt with 9006 x 2. i found the coat compaired to my jetta to be medium in difficulty.
