I just got Estrella rim's from http://www.AmercianRacing.com and I was wondering if this is a good product for cleaning rim's. The rim's are alloy clear coated.
The A2Z is a very good wheel cleaner, as is Meguiar's Hot Rims. Both are spray and rinse products, and both are safe on most wheel metals.
I've yet to find any of these spray and rinse products that will remove really tough brake dust by simply......... spraying and rinsing. However, a second coat of either of those products used with a little srubbing from a safe wheel brush will remove some pretty difficult brake dust.
Yea, that would work fine. Thought maybe a little too harsh for weekly cleaning.
If you haven't put the wheels on the car yet, and even if you have, this is the perfect opportunity to throw a few coats of your favorite synthetic wax (#20, NXT, etc) on the wheels. That will really help the brake dust come off when you wash the car. Keep up with the waxing, and you won't even need a wheel cleaner, just regular car wash soap.
