Finally went and retrieved the GT convertible yeaterday. It's been in a garage covered for 6 months. Didn't even start it. Now, i have the paint cleaner, polish and the new tech wax ready to go. Gonna do it this Thursday when i am off. Gonna be sunny and 75 out. Also got plastix for the headlight lenses as they are dingy and junky looking. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Got a real late start on this car because i had a new bathroom to finish.

Re: Getting The Stang ready...
Plastx may not be enough for the headlights. You may have to wetsand.
800grit
1200 grit
1600 grit
2000 grit
plastx/scratchx from there.
If you have a DA try putting it inside a clamp facing up for the final process. Hold onto the lense itself and push it onto the pad. (assuming you're talking Pre-2005 mustangs)
Note: Use grit appropriate for your needs. My lenses were very etched, and limited lumination. This may not be the best solution, but it worked for me within an hour (Could have done a better job, but it is 95% better). I recieved a set of smoked-clear corner lenses for Christmas anyways. They look so much better than the stock silver ones, as seen in my avatar.
