I was applying it today with a GC applicator foam pad (by hand). I was wiping it off with a MF towel but i started to get annoyed at the fact that it kept slipping off my hand because it was catching itself on the product. I have two questions... 1) Do i have to wait a period of time to wipe off the polish after it has been applied? 2) Is there another way of wiping the polish off, like with a Meg's terry towel, that makes it easier and without the towel constantly moving out of my hand like it was doing?

Re: I applied deep crystal polish today...
How thick did you apply the product? You should be able to get the product right off without the towel you are using "sticking" to the product. Maybe try to use a little less product making sure you are working the product enough.

Just like Andy I think you need to apply less DC Step 1.
You have to polish till there's allmost nothing left of the product on the surface you are working on. The abrasive grains get finer and finer because they abrade themselves.
If you pay attention on a thin apply of the product and the correct way to polish you shouldn't have any problems with wiping off the remaining rests of the product.

I wear a disposable latex glove to avoid the slipping feeling and havent had an issue using MF cloths, but maybe adding a bit much.

You don't want to wait any amount of time - work the product into an area no larger than 2' x 2' until it has broken down (at which time it should be very thin) and then wipe off immediately. Allowing a polish to dry, whether DC1, DC2 or any of the Professional Series polishes, is not recommended due to the difficulty in removal if it does dry. That and you gain nothing by allowing a polish to dry.Michael Stoops

Re: I applied deep crystal polish today...
ok, i'll try not to use that much next time. But for a 2'x2' area how much should i use, a dime size? a quarter size?
Is it better to use a terry towel or MF towel? or is it just preference and doesn't really matter what you use?

You applied it to thick. Apply it to the point you can barely see it on the paint./Keith
