  • polishing glass?

I recently found a detailing guide on one of meguiar's competitor's sites.

they said " if the outside glass is marred with watter spotting or minute scratching, . . . . . chrome polish can help erase the damage. repeated applications of chrome polish may remove spots, but if not the glass is most likely etched and needs to be professionally polished."

does anyone have any experience with polishing glass, and if so, does chrome polish work?

    thanks,

I dont understand... they say it will remove scratching but not etching? Its the same thing.

But removing water spots and removing etching/scratching are two different things. I have gotten spots off, but not scratches.

I had luck getting water spots off my glass with #83 and a cutting pad on the PC. Worked like a charm.
