mate the prices over here mean saving anything up to $150 on those products (together). so im happy to pay for shipping! in a local store which i wont name the only one of those products under $20AUD/USD (hardly any difference lately anyway) is quik interior detailer at around $16AUD. we dont have UQD or NXT 2.0 yet, but i cant see them being cheaper than speed detailer ($24.99AUD-around $22-23USD) or the current NXT liquid (around $40AUD-$36USD approx. and a whole $50AUD for the paste version). ive bought some products from autogeek.net in the past and, including shipping (usually around $35-40AUD depending on weight (UPS), saved $24 compared to driving 5mins to my local store and picking the product up off the shelf.

customs meanwhile are usually only interested in items over $500 value, all others will usually be cleared within a day. so im leaning towards buying all my car cleaning products from the US and getting them shipped, buying in bulk (a few products at once) to save on shipping costs. unfortunately im too impatient to wait for autogeek to get NXT 2.0 so im hoping to find the walmart kit somewhere willing to ship it.

buy me a plane ticket and i will bring you suitcases full of meguiars products!!!!!!!!!!

Can we expect to see these type packages hitting the shelves for XMAS this year? I got the one from Target last year, but would LOVE to see some of those kits from Wal-Mart.

yes, most likely. they usually do it every year at both target and walmart as far as i can remember...

Interesting in that the Walmart in Ankeny which is probably 15 miles from your Walmart never priced them lower than $17 last year. They had lots of them stacked up for weeks after Christmas, then they moved them all out. Probably took them to the store in your area since someone was buying them all up.

You know I never went to the Ankeny Wal-Mart... I bought some from the South Side walmart, there were none on the shelves at the Windsor Heights one and most came from Altoona.

Nothing special - just a 'home gym' a cheap one from Sears. I live in a townhouse and its all I could fit in the spare bedroom.

You know I never went to the Ankeny Wal-Mart...

I try not to, but my wife drags me there and I figure I just as well check out the auto section while I am there.

The Ankeny store seems to be a little short on management.
It isn't kept very clean, general maintenance of store equipment is lacking, door closers that bang, door guards loose and hanging, electronic parts referral gadgets that don't work for weeks at a time, it is often out of products, never has enough checkouts open, customer service is lacking in many departments. I could relate some really bad examples, but I would probably get sued.
They do have cheap prices, but much of the time that cheap price gets you a cheap product.
If you compare prices on the same quality products, many other stores are competitively priced.

They do have it all in one store which my wife really likes. One stop at one store and she is done.

If I give the impression that Walmart isn't my favorite place to buy, you got it right.

Im with you. Although I never use rim cleaner(but I like it when I need it) last years kit was more useful.

Ill try out the tire cleaner since Ive never used it but for $20 you save a few bucks since you get NXTv2 and UQD. Ive got around 3 bottles of UQD so Im going to have to use it more often. Its hard to find the time to wash my Jeep much anymore much less go over it with UQD...

I just bought the last 2 they had at my walmart. They were 20 dollars each. Such an amazing deal considering its nearly 100 dollar value.
