Agreed, but of course it is dependent on the environment, and I still have to UQD something on my car everyday or so, and they do work synergistically due to their hydrophobic properties. Awesome stuff! Meguiar's "...is the diamond dust Heaven polishes its jewels with" ~ Leighton

I have noticed that my car looks cleaner since using the new NXT. I have noticed less dust clingling to the vehicle. I use a car duster and follow that with UQD a couple times between washes and it looks great. Even when it is dusty it looks better than it did with either #21 or #26 and dusty. Also the UQD seems to work much better with NXT 2. I only used the old NXT one time before so I cannot compare the two but the new NXT 2 does seem more oily than #21 or #26. Put it on thin and you should be ok.

Oily? Well not sure how you define oily but its texture, applicability and smell (awesome) is consistent with its predecesor, notwithstanding the hydrophobic improvement. I sadly notice dust and the usual as my daily driver is always outside. Now, the walmart list aside, I would nonetheless call my local walmart as mentioned earlier in this post, and take it from there.

It seems that not all Walmarts carry these kits. According to the link provided by Lykia, I do not see any Walmart which carries these kits in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Are they all full regular sizes? If so, this is a very great deal. I will buy 2 or 3 kits.

From the list. I do not see any Walmart in Manchester, New Hampshire. ???

I got Tech Wax 2.0 last week at walmart and i'm on the west coast of FL. What i did was after i initially discovered its upcoming release here on MOL i proceeded to call my local walmarts automotive dept mgr and asked him to check his inventory list for a meguiars car care kit as for the holidays they usually get them. He told me they were scheduled but he didnt know how soon, so i left my name and number and bam next morning he calls and im flying out the door!

I applied the UQD again last night and it was much better than the last time. I had applied another coat of NXT to the decklid and there was a noticeable difference in the ease of application but the rest of the car was not as difficult as it was previously. It was a little warmer, probably in the high 60's and I started out working a smaller area but was able to go back doing a panel at a time. I dont have any idea what happened and why it was so difficult the other night. I went through my pile of dirty microfibers and could not tell which one had given me problems. The look is fantastic still. It rained on my way into work and from a distance it looks clean. Definatly the best looking car in the parking lot. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

So far there aren't any stores that carry the Ultimate Kit in FL that I know of. This afternoon the list is supposed to be updated, though. Here is the link to it: NXT 2.0 at Walmart

The temp was in the low 60's with over 90% humidity. I am guessing it was a combination of temp, humidity, and putting it on a little to thick. The look and feel was fantastic and I noticed the UQD seemed to work so much better. Tuesday night I washed the car with gold class and it beaded up nice. Not sure if it was the NXT or the UQD because I was I couldn't stop using it. After the wash the car dried much easier than normal using a couple water magnets. I then went to UQD later that evening using a supreme shine microfiber and it was nothing like before I washed it. The towel would just stick to the paint. Everytime I would try to wipe the towel would stick and unfold. I tried on several different areas, the hood, the side, the trunk. Same thing every place, just would not glide like it originally did. Has anyone who has used this noticed the same thing? Any suggestions on what happened? I have not tried any other qd's but did put another coat of NXT on the decklid. I will try the UQD again this evening and see if there is a difference. The looks are still stunning and the car is probably 95% swirl free. I did not clay before applying the NXT but dont think it was needed. Its black and a daily driver.

    Thanks

Feel the car. Does it feel smooth?

Or try another piece of cloth?
