Hi all! I'm new to detail a car. I don't want to spend too much time on my first try. I read the forum and heard some good things on ColorX. Is it a wipe on/off product? Or do I need to wait a bit and do a swipe test? Also, how much passion should I put on the pad? If I go really hard, will it hurt the paint? Suggestions are welcome. Thanks!

ColorX is a quick and easy cleaner/wax. I apply it to the whole vehicle and then take it off. I use a foam applicator to apply it and I remove it with a microfiber cloth. The "passion" is entirely up to you. I always make sure that I really "work" any product either by hand or a pc. It won't hurt your paint if you "work" it hard.

Yes, work it in at least a bit, let it dry (swipe test), then remove. Dont apply it too thick, just thin like a wax or maybe a little more. You can top with a pure wax if you like, or just leave it with ColorX.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR BlueComment
