my first scratch!!!...what should i use to remove this?...it is not that deep..

i am only working by hand...debating on whether i should use scratch X?...i just waxed car on saturday..can someone help me as to what i should do?...remove wax in that portion before using anything else?..etc..

when i first noticed it yesterday...i used cleaner wax..it did help a little bit..but i dont know if that was "stupid" for me to do..

it might take a couple of passes of scratch-x but that should do the trick. follow it up with #7 and than a coat of NXT (see below).

use a foam applicator pad, and apply plenty of passion (elbow grease)

make a few passes and then wipe of the product and see if its up to your standards. if not, repeat the application.

work in the small area and go in a few different dirrections.

It looks pretty light. I'm sure ScratchX would help out quite a bit.

Looks like a really easy fix. Just get some Scratch-X and rub that sucker out. Read through the Forums and you will find articles about how to remove scratches via Scratch-X. Here is one link:

honestly from the pic i was thinking it was paint transfer.

the last one i did (paint transfer) it took me 3 passes and 35 minutes and it was ALL GONE!!!

Using a paint cleaner was the right idea. Just need a stronger one than the cleaner/wax. ScratchX should do fine.

You'll of course want to go back over that area with your cleaner/wax, or a polish and wax, etc.

BTW, Passion=Hold your breath, grit your teeth and drive you heart rate up to about 225 beats per minute.
