Hi, my name is Desi and currently own a 1992 Acura Legend. Is in mint condition when I purchased the car 18 months ago at a used car dealership. I have a paint oxidation problem. the color of my car is metallic black finish. How can detailing help to cover the oxidized part of the car. Its oxidized on the roof top, a little corner of my hood, and a little corner to the end of the trunk.

The Clearcoat Failure Archive
Your post, your question comes up so often that we created a thread with multiple pictures of clearcoat failure so that you can look to see if the pictures in the thread look like what you're seeing on your car.
If it's a clearcoated car than what you're seeing is likely clear coat failure and there's nothing you can pour out of a bottle or scoop out of can and fix the problem.
The only honest repair is to repaint the car or at least the affected areas.
Let us know either way...
